INCOMPLETE
Two-toned irises gazed numbly before the mare, scoring a dull gray path out of her prison, and latching on to the most interesting thing in her entire range of view - a stone. Boredom radiated off the mare like an aura, a hundred different shades of ugly grey. Oooh, she just wanted out. When she was caught by that stallie, she never dreamed his worst form of torture would be abandonment, and utter, mind wrecking boredom. It was almost the worst thing he could inflict upon the lively female, leaving her to slowly rot away in a cage devoid of anything even remotely interesting. Oh, if only she could get out.
Bitterly, she tossed the thought at the stone, with apparently enough force to send it spiraling in the air. The gal eyed it with her strangely matched gazers, and immediately wondered about her own sanity. She had heard about certain four-legged magic users, but her one? That in itself was absolutely insane.
Deciding she was probably imagining things, but hoping rather desperately she wasn't, the gal willed the rock towards her, using her remaining strength to slam the rock into the side of the cage with all the force she could muster. Her repercussions were immediate. The roan's head burst apart, fireworks showering before her eyes as she was rendered unconscious.
Sometime later, the hoofstepper awoke. She found herself lying in the ruins of a once powerful foe - her cage. The large stone had completely dented in one side, leaving a space just large enough for her to slip out, if only she could stand. It took a couple more rounds of drowsing and waking before she could muster whatever it was she needed to gather her legs underneath her and pull herself up.
